Brambles Art Retreat offers residential weekend, 5 day and day courses at their beautiful 17th Century cottage in Devon.

Painting holidays in beautiful Devon

Our courses run throughout the year and we teach a broad range of media, watercolour, oil, acrylic,drawing, life,and mixed media. We cater for all abilities, from the beginner through to advanced painters. With two tutor covering all media, during the courses there are plenty of demonstrations by the tutors and lots of hands on experience. Courses include:

- Watercolour Course: Paint beautiful landscapes, dramatic seascapes, sunsets and flowers.
- Oil and Acrylic Courses: Plein Air, still life, and abstraction.
- Drawing and Life Courses: From basic drawing skills to Life Classes.

Staying in our Beautiful 17th Century Cottage
We welcome you into our country home, enjoy dining in the kitchen with lovely food straight from the Aga. Relax in our rambling garden, take a walk with the dogs. Enjoy working in the converted stable which is now a spacious and light studio.

Non Painting Partners Welcome
Painters can bring their partners or friends who will have ample opportunity to enjoy their holiday in Devon too.
Walks around the tors of Dartmoor, head for the coast.Enjoy plenty of other activities such as fishing, golf and sailing.
