Who They Cater For & Age / Ability Guidelines

Rock & Rapid is built to accommodate a wide range of participants, from young children to adults, beginners to more advanced adventurers. 

Age / restrictions (as per High Ropes & general activities):

• SkyTrail High Ropes — minimum age 5 (or at least 100 cm tall). Children between 100 cm and 120 cm must be accompanied by an adult. No upper age limit.  
• For High Ropes, max weight ~ 21 stone; max height ~ 2 m.  
• Axe Throwing: ages 8+  
• Archery: ages 8+  
• Climbing Taster: 6+ for roped climbing sessions.  
• Bouldering & kids’ climbing clubs: children aged 3–7 may join “Wild Climbers” sessions; from age 7 they may join the NICAS scheme and youth climbing clubs.  

They also support accessibility: wheelchair access at entrance, chest harnesses, tailored team building tasks, sensory adjustments and quiet 1:1 sessions.
